Challenge
The injury the Plaintiff sustained caused painful pressure on his spinal cord. He would need epidural steroid injections to manage the pain radiating through his neck, and he would ultimately undergo C1-3 posterior cervical fusion and C3-7 anterior discectomy with fusion.
While it may be difficult to comprehend the vicious pain suffered by this underlying injury, the animation proved effective at helping the jury not only see how the spine was harmed, but also understand the totality of the damages the Plaintiff experienced during an invasive and traumatic surgery. Approach
Digger Earles, Esq., needed a visual presentation that would show how the injury had a painful impact on his client’s neck, and the spine surgery he would ultimately need as a result of this injury. MediVisuals + High Impact’s medical animators delivered two animations of the Plaintiff’s surgeries that would achieve the following visual objectives:

The combination of visuals and Mr. Earles’ expert argument led to a successful verdict of $3.9 million on a $0 offer. With these well-designed animations, Mr. Earles was able to prove that the previous fracture was not relevant in this case, and all of the injuries sustained were due to the incident caused by the defense.
