The lack of oxygen to the brain resulted in progressive damage to his brain cells, which would cause him cognitive symptoms of irritability, anger problems, anxiety, vision changes, joylessness, sleep interruption, and light sensitivity.

Cavanagh Law Group provided our team with neurology reports documenting their client’s cognitive deficits and tasked our animators with building an animation that would demonstrate how the Plaintiff’s near-drowning resulted in a prolonged lack of oxygen that caused him permanent brain damage. We also compared this mechanism of injury to the normal anatomy to establish how this delicate system was compromised by the lack of oxygen.

The case resulted in a successful, seven-figure settlement for the victim.
