Confidential Settlement: Animating Collision of Car Running Intersection and Hitting Truck

The Plaintiff in this case attempted to deny liability, as she claimed that she stopped her car at the intersection and the Defendant truck driver pulled out in front of her, causing a collision.

Investigation of the damage incurred showed that the Plaintiff’s car struck the Defendant’s truck in the rear tandems. Upon examination of the speed and location at which the truck was hit, evidence clearly showed that the Defendant was not at fault for the incident. Mr. Stone had the information to establish that the Plaintiff’s claims were unfounded, but required a full visual illustration to clarify the story of how the circumstances occurred.

Mr. Stone required an easy-to-understand visual representation of the incident to prove the Plaintiff’s story was not plausible. We created animations from both an aerial perspective and the perspective of the Plaintiff in order to accurately communicate how the damages realistically happened.

With the combined data from the Defendant’s testimony and impact damage on the Plaintiff’s car, we built animations into a cohesive story of how the events unfolded. Our animations gave valuable credibility to the Defendant showing how easily the Plaintiff could have seen the truck and avoided the collision by stopping at the stop sign.

The animations provided by our team of experts showed the facts of the case, ultimately making it impossible for the Plaintiff to deny liability. This allowed the case to be settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.
