A man was violently struck by a golf cart operated by an intoxicated driver, leading to several debilitating injuries that required extensive surgeries to correct. When the defense disputed the nature and extent of the injuries, Mike Stephenson of Stephenson Rife enlisted the forensic animators at MediVisuals + High Impact to help prove how devastating this event would be for anyone when they do not lose consciousness. Challenge
When the Plaintiff was walking up a pedestrian pathway a golf cart hit him, causing him to suffer a hip fracture, clavicle fracture, and a rotator cuff tear. Upon further investigation, the driver was found to have had a Blood Alcohol Content of .277. Despite the driver being in an unauthorized area and being intoxicated, the Defense still disputed who was responsible for the incident.
The negligent and careless actions of the Defendant caused the Plaintiff traumatic and permanent injuries, medical expenses, lost wages, and more ailments that needed to be compensated for. Mr. Stephenson looked to MediVisuals + High Impact to create animations that detailed the events of the incident, to prove that the Defendant was responsible for the damages suffered by his client.
